For the Discord Bot services PolloDev provides (Chicken Encyclopedia, Angry Birds Economy, Crazy Dave!), user's privacy is a priority to us. We make sure to use the most trusted and stable NPM packages, Node.JS versions and most secure VPS provider. The Discord Bot services are all hosted on Cloud Compute servers deployed by PolloDev and run by Vultr (The Constant Company, LLC.) under an account with Application 2FA enabled. If a user is caught breaking the rules of the bot services (No hate speech, no abusing commands, no spamming, no unserious suggestions, no harassment), they will be blocked from using most of the Bot's services.
What data we collect
For the data we collect, is listed below:
The amounts of currency you gain from the bot's economy systems
What you make the bot's say using their "!say <message>" command [to prevent hate speech, spamming and harassment]
How many times users have used certain commands [This info is NOT tied to the user's id, but only to the Bot's ID, only active on Angry Birds Economy as of now]
How much Money/Grubs, Birdcoins/Snoutlings and Gold/Silver a user add's (!add<currencyname> <usermention> <total>) and removes (!remove<currencyname> <usermention> <total>) from another user [to prevent cheating in the local economy]
Sniped messages from when users use the "!say command" [This info is stored on the Bot's RAM, so any reboot will clear this data]
We are instructed to only look at this data when a complaint is filed through any of the Bot's support servers.
How we collect data
We collect this data through the Bot's console logging feature, which means that only the VPS hoster can view this data (Bullet points 4 & 5) and through a super private channel in a server that only has the Bot developer and the provided Bot services in it (Bullet point 2). Bullet points 1 and 3 are stored in a .sqlite file on the Bot's VPS, which means only the bot can read everything on the file, unless a command is executed by the user which shows their data.
How can I request to delete data tied to me?
To do so, please join the Bot's support server and mention PolloDev about it in the #support channel. To view your data, use the "!requestdata" command (Currently only on Angry Birds Economy). If you don't like the data showed in the previously mentioned command, the user can delete their economy data by using the "!deletedata" command (Currently only on Angry Birds Economy). If you are concerned about the other types of data mentioned previously, then privately message PolloDev about it and the issue can be sorted out in the user's favor.
